I am a former C-suite executive with extensive experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and organizational transformation across multinational enterprises and high-growth environments. My career has focused on operating at scale—where capital allocation, governance, and execution materially shape outcomes.

I have held senior leadership roles across financial services, manufacturing, and consumer products, working closely with boards, shareholders, regulators, and international partners in complex, capital-intensive settings.

Founder, CEO & Chairman — ETran, Inc.

San Antonio, Texas | 2015–Present

Founder and inventor of a next-generation elevated transportation system conceived to address structural limitations in conventional rail and transit infrastructure. Responsible for the full lifecycle of the initiative, including capital strategy, intellectual property development, research partnerships, prototype planning, and long-term commercialization strategy.
Currently advancing the technology in collaboration with the Center for Electromechanics at The University of Texas at Austin.

Secretary & Board Member — Fundación Martínez Sada

Monterrey, Mexico | Current

Serve on the board of a foundation dedicated to providing full university scholarships to high-potential students without financial means. Board responsibilities include governance, stewardship, and long-term strategic oversight to ensure alignment between mission, resources, and impact.

Chief Executive Officer / Chairman — Private Financial & Real Estate Ventures

Monterrey, Mexico & San Antonio, Texas | 2002–Present

Founded, scaled, and exited multiple businesses in financial services, investment management, and real estate. Led organizational design, capital raising, technology platforms, and market expansion across five Mexican states and more than twenty-five major cities. Successfully negotiated strategic exits to international investment groups.

Monterrey, Mexico | 2001–2002

Senior executive role within a global industrial organization with approximately US$2.6 billion in annual revenues. Oversaw finance, administration, human resources, information systems, and procurement for a US$1 billion business unit.
Led cost-reduction initiatives, recovered outstanding partner receivables, strengthened strategic partnerships, and negotiated the acquisition of a European glass manufacturer. Directed large-scale organizational and process transformation initiatives.

Chief Executive Officer / Chairman — Fides Unión de Crédito

Monterrey, Mexico | 1998–2001

Acquired and restructured a financial cooperative, relocating operations and redesigning systems, processes, and strategy. Held full P&L responsibility and led a comprehensive business revitalization, including technology modernization, operational reengineering, and a strategic refocus on micro-enterprise lending.

Vice President – Corporate Planning — Grupo Financiero Banorte

Monterrey, Mexico | 1996–1998

Led corporate planning, budgeting, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic alliances for one of Mexico’s largest financial institutions. Served on subsidiary boards and chaired key acquisition committees.
Played a central role in major joint ventures and equity transactions, including the successful sale of a minority stake in the group’s pension, insurance, and annuities businesses for US$261 million.

Vice President – Finance & Administration — Coca-Cola FEMSA (Buenos Aires)

Buenos Aires, Argentina | 1994–1996

Executive leadership role in one of Latin America’s largest Coca-Cola bottling operations. Reorganized finance and administrative functions, led acquisitions of regional franchises, and implemented activity-based costing and process reengineering initiatives that delivered sustained productivity and cost improvements.

Monterrey, Mexico | 1992–1994
